Bio
Sarah Roffe, B.A, is currently working as the Child Life Specialist in the Hematology / Oncology Clinic, and Bone Marrow Transplant Unit at theMount Sinai Kravis Children's Hospital. Sarah implements therapeutic activities for children undergoing treatment for cancer and blood disorders, including medical play, self-expression activities, therapeutic group activities, preparation for reintegrating into school, and procedural preparation and support.  She manages the Bravery Beads Program as a therapeutic tool for patients to reflect on thier illness and treatment and tell thier stories.  Sarah has supervisory responsibilities for child life volunteers and students. Sarah co-facilitates Mount Sinai Girl Talk, a self esteem workshop for teenage girls living with chroninc conditions.
